Ted Vickey

IRCSET Enterprise Partnership Scheme Postgraduate Scholar, National University of Ireland Galway

Ted Vickey is an entrepreneurial strategist focused on helping small businesses grow through successful uses of technology. He started his first company at age 24 to manage the on-site fitness center for the White House Athletic Center in Washington DC and remained there for 11 years under the Bush, Clinton and Bush administrations.

In addition to his strategy consulting, he is also a member of the American Council on Exercise, the largest non-profit exercise certification organization in the United States with over 55,000 members.

He is an international speaker and author of four Amazon-available books. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Penn State and a Master’s degree in International Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Limerick.  He is currently working on a PhD at the National University of Ireland Galway in exercise adherence and technology funded in part by IRCSET.
